The Summer Issue of Oregon Quarterly Magazine, now available in print and online, features my essay, “The Friday’s Trilogy,” which won the Northwest Perspectives Essay Contest this year.
The essay is also a chapter in my upcoming book, Chance of Sun: An Oregon Memoir.
A girl comes of age in Oregon in the 1970s and 80s, navigating her way through the perils of sex, drugs and camping before finding a place she belongs. To be published by Nestucca Spit Press in August of 2011.
