Last Memorial Day weekend, I underwent intense study to become a certified BBQ judge, and subsequently chewed my way through 40 hunks of meat to help decide which BBQ teams would walk away a winner.
The event was Brews, Blues and BBQ on the Bay, at the Mill Casino, in my very own hometown Coos Bay. Here’s my story about the serious business of competitive BBQ.
